Privacy Policy

1. Information you give us

When you ask for a free lead plan, place an order, comment on a lead plan we sent you, contact us or book a call, we collect what you enter: your company name or website, work email, name and your message. We use it to reply to you, send your plan, handle your order and provide our Services.

If you are a client, we also use the data you share with us, like CRM exports and your vendor reps' account lists, only to provide our Services, as our Terms (section 3) describe.

2. Business contact data in our lists

To build lead lists, we collect professional information about people who work at businesses: name, job title, employer, work email, LinkedIn profile link, company details and, for some leads, a phone number. When a client asks, we may add other professional details, like past jobs, public posts or industry events a person went to or spoke at. We also collect public signals about companies, like job posts and leadership changes.

This information comes from public professional profiles and posts, company websites, event pages, job posts and business data providers. We do not collect sensitive information, like a person's health, religion, political views, union membership or finances, or home addresses, even when a client asks for it. If a post or event would show something like that, we leave it out.

3. How we use information

We use business contact data to build lead lists for our clients, with the companies that are already looking to buy at the top. Our clients use them to contact people about products and services related to their work. On some plans, we also find the extra details our clients ask for, write the messages they send and load the lists into their CRM. We also use information to run and improve our Services, keep records and follow the law.

4. Who we share it with

Our clients receive the business contact data in the lists they order. Under some laws, like the California Consumer Privacy Act, that may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time (see section 7).

We also share information with companies that help us run our business, like hosting, email, scheduling and analytics providers, under contracts that limit how they use it. We may share information if the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of our company. We never sell the information you give us through our website.

5. People in the EU and UK

We process business contact data based on our legitimate interest, and our clients’ legitimate interest, in business-to-business sales.

6. How long we keep it

We keep information as long as we need it to provide our Services and follow the law. If you ask us to remove your information, we keep only a short record so we never add you again.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the information we have about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for our lists. Email us at info@intentscout.ai. We'll reply within 2 business days and finish your request within 30 days, and we won't treat you differently for asking. You can also use our Remove my data page.

8. Cookies

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn’t follow you to other sites. It shows us which pages people open and where they came from. We use no ad trackers. The booking calendar on our Contact page, also shown after a Full package order, comes from our booking site, cal.intentscout.ai. It sets two small security cookies so the booking form works, and we don’t use them to track you. The rest of the website uses no cookies. If this changes, we’ll update this policy first.

9. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise that information will never be accessed without permission.

10. Where we process data

IntentScout is based in the United States, and we process information there.

11. Children

Our Services are for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
